Not be serving a sentence for conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude (FYI: you CAN vote in jail as long as you are not currently serving a sentence for a felony or violation of felony probation)

Have not been found mentally incompetent by a judge
NOTE: Even if you owe restitution, fines or fees, you CAN vote in GA with a felony IF: -
You are not “on paper” (probation/parole)

You are serving a felony 1st offender or Conditional Discharge sentence & the status has not been revoked.

You are not currently incarcerated serving a sentence for a felony.
FYI: Registering to vote while currently serving a felony sentence or on felony probation is punishable by up to 10 years in prison! If you registered by accident, please contact your local county registrar's office to request a registration withdrawal form.
